Brenner Sells Retail Building in Tamarac to Church

Brenner Real Estate Group has sold a Broward County retail building as well as completed three new leases.

Ron Osborne, senior sales associate, was responsible for the following sale:

• Genesis Christian Center, a church, has purchased Diamante's Banquet Center and the 46,000 adjusted gross SF retail building which it occupies. The property is located at 6501 W. Commercial Blvd., Tamarac, FL. The purchase represents a relocation of the church from Coral Springs. Genesis Christian Center and Diamante's Banquet Center will occupy approximately 28,000 SF. The balance of the building is leased to two other churches. Mr. Osborne represented the seller, C&R Sixty Five Holdings, LLC. Co-broker representing the buyer was Jim McGrath, formerly of Balestreri Realty and currently of Ryan Scott Realty.

Kathleen Alberts, senior vice-president, brokerage, and Suzanne Lopez, commercial associate, completed the following transaction:

• Carrier Corporation, a supplier of heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems, has leased 4,486 SF of office/flex space within Fort Lauderdale Commerce Center, 5440 NW 33rd Ave., Fort Lauderdale, FL for a regional headquarters location. Ms. Alberts and Ms. Lopez represented the lessor, Commerce Center Development Co. Co-broker representing the tenant was L. Allen McDonough, Jr. of United Technologies Realty, Inc.

Lorie Newman, sales associate, negotiated the following lease:

• Buning Exotic Gardens, Inc. a/k/a Buning the Florist, a 50-year-old floral company, has leased 585 SF of retail space located at 2183 N. Powerline Road, Pompano Beach, FL for a call center. Ms. Newman represented the tenant. The landlord, JMA Investment, Inc., was represented by Brad Kozin of Kozin Realty.

Suzanne Lopez, commercial associate, and Lorie Newman, sales associate, were responsible for the following new lease:

• AirTight Networks, Inc. of Mountain View, CA, a provider of wireless security solutions, has leased 508 SF of office space within Pompano Professional Building, 2641 E. Atlantic Blvd., Pompano Beach, FL. Ms. Lopez and Ms. Newman represented the tenant. The landlord, Pompano Professional Building, LLC, was represented by Don Doctors of Mink & Mink, Inc.
